About the Team

Our HipStamp team is focused on driving growth across Hip’s Stamp marketplace.  We work closely with sellers to help them grow their business on our sites, and our buyers grow their collections. While we operate today in three different verticals, we have built a platform for buyers' and sellers’ specific interests and needs as a collector. The main objective of the HipStamp team is to create this cohesion with our buyers and sellers and leverage it to accelerate the growth of the marketplace.


About the Role

In this role, you’ll be on the frontlines of our buy-side sales, working with top buyers and sellers on HipStamp. You’ll close deals by bringing our collectors closer to the items they are looking for and be a trusted resource for our stamp collectors. Reporting to the GM of HipStamp, you’ll be a subject-matter expert and will partner directly with leadership on growing sales in the vertical.


How you’ll spend your time:

  • Own GMV driving campaigns for high-value buyers from ideation through execution
  • Build, maintain and grow relationships with top clients
  • Create and execute strategy for new sales initiatives
  • Actively manage client and deals pipeline to drive sales on HipStamp
  • Search for and identify items for collectors based on their interests and needs
  • Investigate, research, and close Seller/Buyer deals, aiming for mutually positive outcomes
  • Reporting on the initiative outcome and applying learnings to future activity
  • Learning and sharing knowledge about stamp collecting and using HipStamp 
  • Communicate with clients through sales and support channels


We’re excited about you if you have:

  • Are a self-starter with a proven track record of success in a sales position, preferably within an eCommerce marketplace, and 5+ years of experience
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, delighting customers in each interaction
  • Value start-up hustle and are comfortable with creating clarity out of ambiguity
  • Have hands-on experience handling high-value clients
  • Are cool, calm, and collected under pressure and feel comfortable client communication
  • Knowledge of philately a plus, an interest in learning required
  • Are detail-oriented, have excellent follow-through, and never let anything drop
