Hip eCommerce is searching for an innovative Associate Seller Marketing Specialist to drive the growth of Hip eCommerce’s GMV (Gross Merchandise Value) through email marketing campaign execution, analysis, and optimization.
This is a full-time, remote-based position, working approximately 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time Mon-Fri.

About the Position
The ideal candidate for this role will have an entrepreneurial mindset, approaching existing email marketing strategies with fresh eyes and creative ideas, and finding new ways to utilize email marketing best practices to continue growing GMV.
The Associate Seller Marketing Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that our email campaigns contribute to the overall customer experience of our buyers and help meet the needs of our growing community of sellers.
Responsibilities
Develop a strategy for and execute email marketing campaigns on HipStamp.com, HipComic.com, and HipPostcard.com with the goal of increasing sales on each website
Work with sellers to execute email marketing campaigns on their behalf including setting up creative sales and promotions
Up-level the creative quality of our existing email programs, including auditing existing campaigns and developing plans for optimization
Quality assure and proof marketing emails to ensure compliance with email campaign briefs, internal creative & editorial guidelines, proper tracking, email best practices, and CAN-SPAM compliance
Maintain the data quality of the email database and develop strategies for increasing the number of email subscribers
Monitor KPIs and work with ESPs and ISPs to safeguard email deliverability
Analyze email marketing data and optimize current strategies based on findings
Create and update reports with email performance data on a weekly and monthly basis
Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to set goals and milestones for the email marketing program

About You
3-5 years of Marketing experience
1-2 years of specific Email Marketing experience
Experience working with an eCommerce company
Sales or lead generation experience a plus
Working knowledge of HTML
Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop (ideally Affinity Designer/Photo)
Understanding of email design best practices, inbox deliverability, and eCommerce psychology
Ability to analyze large datasets and understand how to take action to drive results, experience with SQL a plus!
Desire to take ownership, brainstorming collaboratively, but executing independently
Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic organization
Ability to work with sellers and create customized email marketing campaigns tailored to their specific needs
