About the Position

The Junior Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for timely planning, execution and reporting on assigned email communications as defined in the marketing content calendar. This person will curate highly optimized email campaigns by leveraging provided creative assets or existing marketing templates.

Responsibilities

  • 📩 Ensure timely execution of email production schedule, as outlined in the content calendar

  • 🖌 Ensure email communications adhere to the company’s or the seller’s style guidelines

  • ✉️ Creation, testing, and deployment of all assigned and scheduled email communications, including, but not limited to: new listings, sales and promotions, brand marketing, auctions, etc.

  • 📊 Responsible for supporting weekly data-driven reporting and providing optimization feedback to marketing teams to further improve the performance of managed email campaigns

  • 🔍 Continually A/B testing for optimizations that increase performance

  • 🎨 Leveraging existing email templates and provided graphics to manage a large volume of 100+ email campaigns per week

  • 🔍 Selecting items to feature in sales and promotions based on the company’s best practices, and by learning about collectible stamps, postcards, and comics

  • 📈 Staying up-to-date on email marketing trends and best practices

  • 📋 Other duties as assigned by the manager

About You

  • 🎓 You have 1+ years of experience in email marketing and/or graphic design
  • 🎨 You have demonstrable experience in graphic and visual design
  • 💌 You understand email design best practices and eCommerce psychology
  • 🎨 You can establish visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and color effectively
  • 🖥 You have demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (or Affinity) graphics applications
  • 📊 You are results-driven with a strong ability to produce deliverables accurately, timely, and efficiently with a continuous drive for improvement and development
  • 🖼 You have a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in designing email templates
  • 🤝 The ability to work well within a team structure, but also with a high level of autonomy

Schedule Requirements: 

  • Employees are expected to work Monday-Thursday within standard operating hours of 7am-5pm and Friday 8am-12nn Eastern Time.

To maintain appropriate productivity and performance, remote employees should choose a work environment that is free from distractions, has a reliable internet connection, and supports the employee’s ability to dedicate their full attention to their job duties during work hours.
