How are we doing that? We create category-specific marketplaces, built from the ground up, that understand how collectors browse, search and collect each type of collectible. We currently operate three marketplaces--HipComic, HipStamp, and HipPostcard--and plan to grow into other categories in the future. We’re a fully distributed company, which means our entire team works remotely full-time. With team members across the United States, Philippines, and South America, we foster a culture that values collaboration and connection. To help facilitate that, our team members are primarily working standard Eastern Time hours.

About the Role

As the Senior Manager, HipPostcard you are the stakeholder of the HipPostcard vertical and should articulate clear performance goals, execute plans, and monitor and manage key business metrics to achieve high growth results as well as define overarching goals and strategy in collaboration with the General Manager, HipStamp. 

As the Senior Manager, HipPostcard, you are responsible for:

  • Executing strategy to drive growth on HipStamp
  • Work with leadership on P&L for the vertical
  • Managing Seller Success and HipPostcard Marketing (Campaigns, Email, Seller Marketing) to grow supply and demand of the Marketplace
  • Create and execute strategy to acquire, grow, and retain new and existing sellers
  • Working with sellers and the seller community to grow  and maintain  quality listings 
  • Building and managing a growing sales, account management, and HipPostcard marketing team
  • Leveraging data to evaluate overall health and supply/demand balance
  • Other tasks as needed come with a rapidly growing business

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 5+ years of relevant leadership experience, preferably in e-commerce or marketplace
  • Experience in P&L and/or business ownership 
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of leadership, taking ownership and driving results
  • You can think strategically at the highest level while simultaneously managing and executing the day-to-day tactically
  • Passion for driving strategic insights from data, implementing successful strategies, and executing on them
  • A builder mindset, knowing when to get into the weeds and when to think big picture
  • Ability to multi-task and work well within a dynamic, start-up organization
