About the Team

Our Product Development team is made up of dedicated and passionate product managers and engineers who work closely with our UX & design, business, sales, and marketing teams to create revolutionary experiences for collectors. We use data and user research to drive our decision-making and work continuously to improve our products and delight our users.

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Manager with a technical background in PHP and JavaScript SPA/PWA experience to join our growing company. You will lead a team filled with highly-motivated engineers using agile methodologies to design and build highly available enterprise software in our fast-paced environment. Successful candidates will need to be self-motivated, collaborative, and have a proven track record to lead successful engineering teams focused on delivery.

Our software engineers take great pride in creating outstanding software, but take even more pride in product ownership, bringing ideas from concepts, to MVPs, further iterations, and beyond. How you'll spend your time:

  • Leading quality assurance testing of applications, services, tools, and other efforts.

  • Leading key automation functions, test plans, and test cases (automated).

  • Coordinating user acceptance testing

  • Managing personnel activities for all team members including career development, delegation, mentoring, motivating, performance reviews, and hiring.

  • Building and leading a strong and engaged team focused on testing and delivery of quality products and services.

  • Partner with other departments to standardize development, testing, and release processes to ensure quality products are delivered on time.

  • Observe and communicate team metrics to ensure the team is well-functioning. Create action plans as needed.

We get excited about you if you have:

  • 5 - 8 years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience.

  • Expertise with testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Karma, Jest, PHPUnit

  • Experience with development methodologies and project lifecycle management.

  • The ability to lead and collaborate with remote employees and across different time zones and departments.

  • A thoughtful approach to how you plan, organize, prioritize, execute, and delegate work.

  • A curiosity and ability to ramp up on new technologies quickly where appropriate.
