We’re a fully distributed company, which means our entire team works remotely full-time. By removing the geographic requirements of an office, we’re able to hire the best, which means you’re working with the best. With team members across the United States, Philippines, and South America, we foster a culture that values collaboration and connection. To help facilitate that, our team members are primarily working standard Eastern Time hours.
About the Business Operations Team
Our Business Operations team is focused on driving growth across all three of Hip’s marketplaces. We work closely with our sellers to help them grow their business on our sites, because when our sellers win, our buyers win, and Hip wins. While we operate today in three different verticals, our goal is to make buyers and sellers on each site feel like we’ve built a platform of their specific interest and needs as a collector. The goal of the business operations team is to create this cohesion and leverage it to accelerate the growth of each site.
About the Role
As our HipStamp Seller Success Manager, your focus will be partnering with HipStamp’s existing sellers to help them optimize and grow their businesses on our marketplace. You’ll also bring on new sellers to HipStamp by developing and following up on leads. You’ll leverage the unique features and power of our platforms to ensure our sellers are educated on our various tools and offerings and using them to their fullest. You will meet overarching goals and strategy, articulate clear performance goals, execute plans, and monitor and manage key business metrics to achieve high growth results. You will need to be a skilled negotiator and relationship builder, helping a diverse set of sellers scale with us while improving product economics, working with key cross-functional partners in Customer Engagement, Marketing, and Technology, and defining and refining our processes.
How you’ll spend your time
Connecting with sellers to identify and develop new business opportunities and potential areas of growth
Closely coordinating with different internal stakeholders to guarantee seller efficiency
Managing sellers onboarding and ensuring healthy engagement within the platform
Executing seller acquisition strategies to drive seller growth and happiness
Proactively reaching out to potential and active sellers and onboarding them onto the platform
We’re excited about you if you have:
3+ years of experience with account management or customer success
Familiarity with eCommerce and/or two sided marketplaces
Comfortable remotely engaging with customers to deliver excellent service.
A proactive, self-starter mindset
A proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Passion for using spreadsheets or other analytics tools to analyze large data sets to drive decisions based on strategic insights
The ability to multitask and work well within a fast-changing organization
Experience with CRMs such as FreshSales, HubSpot, or SalesForce
